I once heard a quote stating that God loves people right where they are at, but he loves them too much to let them stay there. I want this to be true of me as well. I want to love people well, in a way that I can accept them for who they are, but deeply enough that I can push them to become even more than that. But I am a selfish person. My own self gets in the way of truly loving people deeply. I want to change. God, will you make me more selfless, in order that I may love people in the way that you do. . .
