My mouth gets me in trouble a lot. I have this tendency to speak my mind even when people don't want to hear it. I really should think more before I speak. But sometimes it works out for the good. Like last night when I had to be bold and honest with a friend, risking embarrassment or a lack of acceptance on his part. However, that wasn't the result. The result was affirmation of my honesty. So maybe it wasn't my boldness that made the situation a good one, but his humility and willingness to listen and consider my words.

I appreciate your honesty, I think it makes you unique. So many people are afraid to speak truthfully to a friend about something that concerns them.
