If my life ended now, if this breath was my last, I would say that I have lived a good life. Not to say that I have done everything right, don't have any regrets, or wouldn't change anything, but I am happy with my life. I was just looking at old pictures on Facebook, and it's just amazing how many people I have met, how many places I have been to, and how many experiences I have had in my short 22 1/2 years on this earth.
Erin and I were watching LA Ink the other night on TLC, and then some video clips on the Internet yesterday from LA Ink and it seems like, for the most part, people get tattoos to remind them of something that has happened in their life and how they felt about it. There was a guy that has been a rattlesnake-catcher for many years, so he got a sweet tat on his arm of rattlesnakes. Some guy from a band got tattoos to describe his different tour experiences. The list could go on and on. But I was just thinking how I could fill my body with pictures and words to describe the deep experiences I have already had in life. The hard times that the Lord brought me through. The good times that He blessed me with. The lessons that I have learned and how I have grown from them. But instead of tatting up, I will just move forward, knowing that God is going to continue to richly bless me with things and experiences that bring Him glory, that let His goodness and love shine through.

you are beautiful and that was a very poetically written, heart felt note of reflection and praise. the summer spent with you was and the COI'ers was one of the hardest, craziest, sweetest chapters in my life. I pray that as He has led and continues to lead your beautiful feet around the world with the Good News that you never lose sight of His eyes brimming with tears of love for you. love you so much ambershine
